You’ll spend these first two weeks learning to listen to your body with curiosity instead of frustration, mapping your personal stress patterns, and creating a foundation of safety so your nervous system can begin to reset.

Weeks 3-6: Build

Now that your body has begun to find safety again, it’s time to rebuild trust and stability and release the stored stress and trauma
 

This phase focuses on retraining your body to recognise what calm actually feels like, strengthening your daily rhythms, and building the confidence to release tension safely and naturally.

Meet Andrea

I'm Andrea, a qualified breathwork and somatics coach with over 1,000 hours of training, and 36 years’ experience coaching high-performing teams in corporate life.

I created The Release Method after healing my own IBS and migraines through learning how to release stored stress from my body. I've taken over 150 clients through this method now to heal chronic fatigue, recurring trauma, chronic stress and burnout.

Why Trauma and Stress
Get Stuck
in your Body

When something traumatic or stressful happens, your body runs through a natural sequence called the defence cascade - alert, mobilise, fight/flight, freeze, fawn, recover.

If our body is not safe, we won't reach the recovery stage because the body doesn't discharge stress whilst it still feels there's danger.

 

The unfinished stress response stays locked in your muscles, breath, and nervous system. Over time, that tension becomes your body’s “new normal.”

That’s why you feel tight all the time, why rest doesn’t feel restful, and why talking it through isn’t always enough.

What if I don’t have time for another course?

You won’t need hours a day. Most practices take under 15 minutes and fit easily into your day, even during busy weeks.
Because we work together 1:1, you’ll always know what to focus on next instead of trying to do everything at once.

Do I need

to have experienced trauma for

this to help?

Not at all. Many clients simply feel tired, wired, or tense for no clear reason.
Whether your stress comes from years of overdoing or one big life event, this process helps your body return to a state of safety and calm.

I’m not sure I can afford it

I completely understand, it is an investment. I designed this to give you lifelong tools, not short-term relief.
When you add up the cost of flare-ups, fatigue days, and constant stress, it’s often far more expensive to stay stuck.
You’ll leave with a full toolkit you can use for the rest of your life.

What if it doesn't work for me?

The release process works for everyone because we are accessing the tools that your body already has. The speed that you are able to progress depends upon building safety.

I will work with you to do this at a pace that's right for you and if it takes a little longer than 8 weeks to reach that point, that is ok.
